HD Hyundai Infracore has recently introduced the DX05 and DX08 engines, marking a significant advancement in environmentally friendly engine technology. Unveiled at INTERMAT 2024 in Paris, these 5-liter and 7.5-liter engines are designed to meet stringent emission standards, including the EU's Stage V and the U.S.'s Tier-4 Final. Notably, they are compatible with diesel and hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), a next-generation biofuel, underscoring Hyundai's commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
These engines are engineered for durability and efficiency, making them ideal for a wide array of applications, including:
- Construction Equipment: Powering machinery such as excavators, loaders, and cranes.
- Agricultural Machinery: Driving tractors, harvesters, and other farming equipment.
- Power Generation: Serving as dependable sources for generators and hybrid power systems.
- Material Handling: Operating forklifts, container handlers, and other material transport vehicles.
- Industrial Equipment: Providing power for compressors, pumps, and other industrial machinery.
In addition to the DX05 and DX08, HD Hyundai Infracore is actively developing hydrogen engines, such as the 11-liter HX12, which produce zero carbon dioxide emissions. These engines are particularly suitable for large construction equipment and off-road vehicles requiring high power output and extended operation periods. The company plans to commence pilot operations of hydrogen engines for power generation in the latter half of this year, with future expansions to include engines of 22 liters and above.
Continental Engines is proud to offer Hyundai's advanced engine technologies, providing our customers with reliable and efficient power solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
